Colleges and Schools

Bachelor’s degrees with honours are at level 10 of the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) and require 480 credits with a minimal of 90 at degree 10 and ninety at level 9. Ordinary degrees are at level 9 and require 360 credit with a minimum of ninety at level 9. Both honours degrees and strange levels qualify as first cycle (finish of cycle) qualifications in the Bologna Process.

Alyssa Burgueno graduated from ASU in May with concurrent bachelor of science levels in mathematics and physics, and a certificates of cryptology. There is a need in our nation and around the world for those with experience within the STEM (science, expertise, engineering and mathematics) disciplines.

Student Organizations

Bachelor’s degrees in medication, dentistry and veterinary science are at degree eleven of the SCQF and are second cycle (end of cycle) skills within the Bologna Process. In addition to bachelor’s degrees, some institutions offer integrated grasp’s levels as first degrees in some subjects (particularly in STEM fields). These combine educating at bachelor’s and grasp’s level in a 4-year (five-yr if with industrial expertise) course, which frequently shares the first two years with the equivalent bachelor’s course.
